Anini, Aug 30: Today marked a significant milestone with the second session of the Career Counselling Programme at PM SHRI Angulin School, part of the impactful Shiksha Saathi Dibang initiative.
Dr. Hidung Relum, BAMS, spearheaded the session, sharing invaluable insights on effective career planning, diverse educational opportunities, and the critical importance of informed decision-making for students. This engaging and interactive event attracted the attention of parents, teachers, and members of the School Management Committee (SMC), fostering a collaborative effort to shape students' academic and career journeys.
The Shiksha Saathi Dibang initiative is a pioneering program led by the Panchayati Raj of Dibang Valley, Anini, in partnership with the Education Department and the NGO Hope Defence. This visionary program aims to extend its reach across the district, providing students with essential exposure, mentorship, and resources to navigate an array of career opportunities.
During the session, stakeholders passionately underscored the urgent need for early career counselling in rural and remote areas, where access to guidance and opportunities is often limited.
