ROING, Oct 16: In a brazen theft, unknown miscreants broke into the Bank of India ATM in Roing and stole cash amounting to ₹6,900. According to bank officials, the culprits used a suspicious device to tamper with the ATM lock and unit before making away with the money.
CCTV footage from the scene reportedly shows masked individuals carrying out the act with precision. The recordings have been handed over to the Roing Police for further investigation.
Bank authorities discovered the theft early in the morning and immediately alerted the police. A case has been registered at Roing Police Station, and efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend the offenders.
