GAYA, Oct 16: In a commendable effort to promote national integration, cultural understanding, and unity in diversity, the Spearhead Division of the Indian Army’s Spear Corps has organised a Pilgrimage-cum-National Integration Tour for twenty local residents from Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
The tour, conducted under Operation Sadbhavana, forms part of the Indian Army’s outreach initiative aimed at fostering peace, harmony, and development in India’s border regions.
This unique journey, themed “Spiritual Awakening”, takes the participants through Tuting–Gaya–Santiniketan, allowing them to explore India’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage. It provides the people from the remote frontier areas of Arunachal Pradesh an invaluable opportunity to witness the nation’s diverse traditions, unity of culture, and shared values.
