PASIGHAT/MECHUKA, Jul 24: The Border Road Organization is set to complete road construction along the Indo-Tibet border within the next two years. BRO’s Project Brahmank, Chief Engineer, S. C. Looniya while sharing a presentation of the ongoing roads and bridges construction at Tato-Mechuka region under Shi-Yomi district said that the road construction work on Yarlung tri-junction is in full swing to achieve completion in mission mode. “The bridge work on road Tongkorla -Yarlung is progressing consistently towards timely completion, while work on Kaying-Tato road is being carried out vigorously to extend National Highway-13 till far flung areas of Tato,” said Looniya
The BRO official also informed about the excavation of 140 ft steel modular bridge at 2.225 KM on Yarlung tri-junction road, FMN cutting on Yarlung tri-junction road, construction of Enda Sokong bridge on Tangkorla-Yarlung road, construction of Lensang Nallah bridge on Tangkorla-Yarlung road, construction of Shene bridge on Tato-Mechuka road and WMM works on Kaying-Tato road under job No.108/230.
The project Brahmank, under the Border Roads Organization (BRO), is actively involved in constructing and maintaining strategic roads and bridges in the challenging terrains of Arunachal Pradesh, particularly along the Indo-Tibet border. The Chief Engineer (CE) of Project Brahmank, S.C. Looniya has been recognized for his leadership in this effort, including his role in felicitating personnel for their dedication and overseeing infrastructure development and welfare initiatives for BRO staff.
