Aalo, Jun 5: Deputy Commissioner of West Siang, Mamu Hage took stock of the road damages on Wak to Yomcha road. Some portion of the road has been blocked and later on it was cleared by the executing agency. The landslides occurred due to the recent heavy pour. Wak to Yomcha road is 26km long which the widening of the road is in progress. 
The DC informed the executing agency not to compromise the quality of work and complete the road in time. It is also informed to the public of Taba Sora and Yomcha area not to travel at night. DC along with the officers also visited Kodum to Bam trijunction road which is almost in the final stage.
She also told the executing agency to keep machineries on standby for any landslides during monsoon.
DC was accompanied by Hento Riba CO Kodum, AE PWD and JE etc during the inspection.
