YUPIA, Jan 20: A ten-day training programme for the School Management Committee (SMC)/School Management and Development Committee (SMDC) members of ISSE-Samagra Shiksha, Papum Pare was conducted in the 5 Educational Blocks of the district from January 8-18.
DDSE-cum-DPO Tagu Tana Tara inaugurated the training programme from Doimukh Block in presence of trainees and District Resource group of ISSE. Interacting with the SMC/SMDC members he suggested them to take active part in improving the quality of education in their respective jurisdictions. In Balijan Block the programme was launched by ADC Tasso Gambo where he assured to extend his cooperation in improving quality of education and infrastructure. The training was conducted in Kimin and Sagalee Blocks and culminated in Mengio.
Topics covered in the training were roles and responsibilities of SMC/SMDC members, innovative schemes under ISSE, New Education Policy, SOPs on Covid-19 pertaining to re-opening of schools etc. DDSE PR
