ITANAGAR, Jun 13:The Arunachal Pradesh National Health Mission Employee Association (APNHMEA) have commenced agitations against the government by launching its 2nd phase of pen down strike on Tuesday, to press their demand for creation of posts and regularization of service of non-technical staffers.
A press note issued the association informed that the strike has been called in the backdrop of apathetic attitude of the health department authorities towards their genuine demand for regularization of management staff and the contractual employees working under various programs of National Health Mission (NHM).
It reminded that many technical employees including Medical Officers, GNMs, ANMs, Health Assistants, and Lab. Technicians etc working under the same flagship programme have been systematically regularized over the years.
However despite series of memorandums, the concern authority failed to regularize the non-technical staffs, which is also rendering same service for development of health sector in the state, added APNHMEA.
The association cautioned that it will continue its third phase indefinite pen-down strike, if authority failed to address their grievances within a stipulated time.
