Aalo, Jan 24:: As part of its third convention, Trigonometry NGO organized a counseling program for school and college students at SFS College, Aalo, in collaboration with the SFS College Alumni Forum. The event saw participation from over 170 students representing institutions such as DPGC Kamki, VKV Jirdin, GHSS Kamba, SFS School, GHSS, and SFS College.
The program, coordinated by local organizers Kappil Kamsi and Marli Kamki, featured distinguished speakers, including Doli Loyi, IRS (Retd.), and Hento Karga, APCS (Retd.), former Director of Rural Development.
Doli Ete, Patron of the Galo Welfare Society, delivered an engaging presentation on "Career Options in Humanities," emphasizing focus, goal setting, and the importance of informed decision-making in achieving career goals. He highlighted diverse opportunities within the humanities field, including entrepreneurship and other innovative career paths.
Hento Karga discussed the evolving education system and the significance of skill development in adapting to modern-day challenges. He offered students valuable advice on exam preparation, stress management, and strategies for excelling in competitive exams while encouraging them to contribute meaningfully to society.
Trigonometry Chairman Tobom Dai underscored the NGO's commitment to societal service. He described Trigonometry as a self-funded group of motivated youth from Arunachal Pradesh, dedicated to enhancing the welfare of the state. Dai inspired students to dream big, work hard, and become responsible citizens who can drive the state and nation forward.
The event concluded with a question-and-answer session, providing students an opportunity to seek clarification from the resource persons.
Meanwhile, Trigonometry NGO also contributed to infrastructure development by constructing a new storeroom for Government Upper Primary School Angu in West Siang. This initiative was a part of the NGO's broader mission to support education and improve facilities for students in rural areas.
Earlier, Kappil Kamsi, Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, while Dr. Jose Karipadathu, Principal of SFS College Aalo, also graced the event.
The counseling program and the infrastructure initiative reflect Trigonometry NGO's dedication to empowering the youth of Arunachal Pradesh and contributing to the state's development.
