NAHARLAGUN, Jan 31: The NERIST Research Scholars Association (NRSA) successfully conducted its annual mentorship program at Wisdom Academy, Naharlagun, as part of its ongoing commitment to guiding students in their academic and career pursuits.
Under the leadership of President, John Yigam and General Secretary Tapi Tada, this year’s programme featured a series of engaging and informative sessions. Lochumi Shitiri, a Ph.D. scholar from the Forestry Department, delivered an eye-opening presentation on addiction awareness, highlighting the impact of substance abuse.
Marphy Kamki, a Ph.D scholar from the Electronics Department, conducted a session on Time Management, offering practical strategies to enhance productivity. Tokani Guhato, a Ph.D. scholar from the Humanities and Social Sciences Department, led an insightful talk on Career Path Exploration, helping students assess their strengths and make informed career decisions.
In addition to the mentorship sessions, the event included interactive activities such as games and engagement exercises coordinated by Jumnya Basar. A quiz competition, conducted by Subharata Basu, added an element of fun and learning, ensuring an enriching experience for all participants.
The NRSA reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of learning, mentorship, and self-improvement among students. Held annually, this initiative reflects NRSA’s vision of giving back to society by providing valuable insights and mentorship to young learners, stated a release.
