ITANAGAR, Jan 28:
The inaugural ceremony of “5th Youth Foundation Day” was organized here at Senki Valley, Itanagar by the ward number 7 youth association amidst huge gathering. Various sports competition like badminton, volleyball and tug-of-war including cultural competitions will be conducted on the five daylong event.
Inaugurating the event, Chief Guest, Advocate Techi Tolu advocated for healthy and positive lifestyle and urged the youngsters to participate in sports activities for healthy mind and soul.
He also encouraged the youths to avail the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) scheme and opined that the scheme aimed at providing employment opportunities to unemployed youths in the state.
Guest of honour, General Secretary, Kishan Morcha BJP, Doyak Singhi also addressed the gathering.
