TAWANG, Jan 18: A ten day workshop on Yak and Lion Dance organised here by the Sangeet Natak Academy, NE centre Guwahati under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India came to an end today. The workshop mainly aimed at giving a platform to the younger generation to take forward their rich culture and tradition in the form of performing arts and to foster cultural contacts between different regions of the country. Around 30 youths hailing from Tawang and West Kameng district attended the workshop. Lok Rang, a festival of Folk Art Forms was also celebrated on the eleventh day.
