AALO, Feb 26: A conservation team from the Museum Section of Directorate of Research, Itanagar conducted a two day workshop on conservation and preservation of cultural artifacts at Samten Yangcha Monastery at Mechuka and Aalo Museum today. Many artifacts were also treated chemically at both places. 

The team comprised of N Roy, Omak Darin and Anil Dutta. Informing that varieties of rich ethnic art are dwindling due to lack of conservation, the visiting team while disclosing that many manuscripts in the monastery at Mechuka are also in need of conservation treatment, educated the people and monks on preventive methods.
