GUWAHATI, Dec 9:

 

On the opening day of the 63rd National School Games underway at Dispur, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh weightlifters won two medals—a silver and a bronze in 56 kg body weight category in Weightlifting event.

Markio Tario won silver medal by lifting 95 Kg in Snatch, 121 Kg in Clean & Jerk and Total of 216 Kg while Charu Pesi won the bronze by lifting 80 kg in Snatch, 113 kg in Clean & Jerk and Total of 193 kg.
