NEW DELHI, Feb 1:
The Arunachal Pradesh Tourism Department is participating in the South Asian Tourism and Travel Exhibition (SATTE) being held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. A three day affair which will conclude on Friday, SATTE is a business-to-business travel trade show supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, with an aim to increase tourists’ inflow in the country.
Many people, particularly domestic tourists, could be seen queuing up the Arunachal stall to enquire about the state. A lot of pamphlets and brochures / CDS etc were distributed among the participants. Registered tour operators of Arunachal Pradesh also took part in the event.
Adong Moyong, Resident Tourism Officer, Arunachal Bhawan, New Delhi was joined by Duyu Tamo of Duyu Tours & Travel and Takam Pobitro of Tado Tours and Travels both based in Itanagar.
