The Department of Tourism, Papum Pare District organized an awareness programme at Borum Middle School to commemorate the National Tourism Day.
District Tourism Officer,(DTO), Tater Mize elaborated on importance of observing National Tourism Day to the school children and advised them to imbibe the sense of responsibility towards protecting Mother Nature and the environment to enhance the potential of tourism in the area.
Essay writing and quiz competition were also conducted to mark the occasion.
