The 3-day Training of Trainers (ToT) Programme for NSS Programme Officers on Youth and Peace Building concluded today at Rajiv Gandhi University.
Attending the valedictory, Vice-Chancellor, RGU, Prof. Tamo Mibang appreciated the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) and Centre for Youth Development and Leadership Studies (CYDLS) for conducting the needful programme. He further mentioned that RGU will work with RGNIYD in future towards empowering youths of the state.
The programme covered important issues related to peace and conflict such as understanding conflict, levels of conflict, factors influencing on youth to involve in conflicts, techniques of conflict management, understanding peace, role of various stakeholders in peace building, and contribution and efforts of noble peace prize laureates.
