PASIGHAT, Feb 11:  The Tirki Manmong Welfare Society (TMWS) which conducted its 3^rd General Conference at Tarak village under Siang District concluded successfully recently where besides promoting unity and harmony among the clans of TMWS, the meritorious students, exceptional and exemplary personalities from the society were felicitated.

As per TMWS sources, the nomenclature of TMWS was also changed from TMWS to  Tirki Manmong Olung (TMO) which will be now headed by its new President, Tasing Sitang, IFS and General Secretary, Er. Shyamak Ering. The conference was graced by all the members of TMO including Lok Sabha MP, Ninong Ering as members.

During the conference, the representatives like Presidents and Gen. Secretaries with other executive members of Karko Ao Welfare Association and Matpang Welfare Society also attended the conference to strengthen the relations between the clans and societies. A youth wing of the TMO was also created during the conference which will be headed by Er. Taying Sitang and Tagom Ering as President ang GS respectively, informed, Tado Muang, Vice President, TMO.
