SEPPA, Nov 18:Tax & excise parliamentary secretary, Tapuk Taku has announced to award Rs 5 lakhs to every alumnus/alumna of Government Model College (GMC) here in East Kameng district who crack the state civil service exam.   

 Taku made this announcement during the college’s 7^th annual College Day celebration on Wednesday.

 GMC principal Robin Hissang also urged the alumni to prepare for the forthcoming Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Combined Competitive Exam seriously in order to win the award. 

A week earlier, Home Minister Kumar Waii had announced Rs 10 lakhs for natives of East Kameng who crack the UPSC exam.
