ITANAGAR, Feb 24:

Final year students of Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic College (RGGPC), Itanagar led by Lecturer, Bengia Taday recently visited the North Eastern Regional Load Dispatch Centre (NERLDC), Shillong as part of its exposure tour.

During their visit, the students were exposed to real time operation & control of electrical power system along with usage of Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) and provided important insights into installed capacity, load demand, scheme of island, power system protections from blackouts etc.
