PASIGHAT, Dec 1: In a fatal road accident Thursday night, Adi Students’ Union, President, Mida Pertin passed away at Meka, some few kilometers away from Roing in Lower Dibang Valley.

According to family sources, Pertin was returning from a picnic when he met with an accident.

His car skidded and plunged down the road side after hitting a speed breaker which was not marked white. Since the accident occurred late night, no one was around to offer help.

Meanwhile various community based organizations have deeply condoled the untimely demise.

Late Pertin was born on 18th October 1985 and graduated with B.Com. from Dr. GR Damodaran College of Science, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu during 2005 and was presently serving as President, AdiSU (Apex). He is survived by father Mibom Pertin (Ex-ZPM and ABK Lower Dibang Valley Unit, President), Mother Tokmem Libang Pertin and wife Oyin Apum Pertin.

The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) has expressed grief over the untimely demise of Mida Pertin.

 Expressing shock, President Hawa Bagang remembered late Pertin as a sincere, hardworking, energetic youth icon and leader. Bagang also expressed solidarity with the aggrieved family members.
