Claiming that many colleges in the state are yet to introduce Sociology subject, the Arunachal Civil Society (ACS) on Tuesday urged the government to make it one of the core subjects in colleges.
Underscoring the importance of sociology course, it said the introduction will help students to have better understanding the complexities of life and guide them to cope social situations. The reformation in society can be only possible by encouraging the upcoming youth to pursue career in sociology, it added.
