NAMSAI, Nov 17: Bhartiya Janata Party Minority Morcha organized Sarva Dharam Sammelan at Namsai. Parliamentary Secretary and local MLA, Zingun Namchoom, Parliamentary Secretary Laisam Simai along with state President Minority Morcha, Loku Sono and others attended  the meeting.

Addressing the gathering, Simai briefed the members on the ideology and principle of BJP. ‘BJP is purely a political party, not related to any particular person or religion,’ he said adding that being an elected leader of the BJP and a Christian himself, he is comfortable in the party as the party only works for the development of society, state and the county.

Speaking on the occasion, local MLA Zingnu Namchoom highlighted Namsai’s pluralistic nature.

‘BJP never said that the party is only meant for Hindus but welcomes every religion for the betterment of society,’ he said.
