ITANAGAR, Feb 8: RTI Activist, Payi Gadi has submitted a representation seeking extension of 30 years land lease agreement to 99 years.
In its representation, Gyadi stated due to short land lease agreement in the state poor and unemployed youths are being deprived of getting bank loans and other government benefits which is directly or indirectly discouraging them to try their hand at entrepreneurship. ‘Some people in power are getting 99 years lease agree agreement easily, whereas common people never get such opportunity which is against right to equality,’ he lamented.
