ROING, Feb 12:The Roing Police on Sunday busted a gang of teenagers who had been committing numerous burglaries in Roing township for the last few years. SI Abraham Taying, who is the investigating officer of the case, told that an FIR was received from a shopkeeper on Sunday citing that his shop had been burgled and many articles stolen. Further, the miscreants had also stolen the CCTV camera installed in the shop for fear of being identified. 

Responding promptly, a Police team under the supervision of SP Roing Sanjay Kr. Sain swung into action. Four persons were rounded up on suspicion and on being interrogated at the Police Station, they confessed to their involvement in many such burglaries in the township, of which many cases are pending till date. The stolen articles were also recovered and seized from their possessions. All apprehended boys are juveniles as per their documents. A case vide Roing PS Case No. 7/2018 U/S 457/380 is registered and under investigation.
