RONO HILLS, Jan 28:
Rajiv Gandhi University’s, Research Scholars’ Forum (RGURSF) has announced its 8-member-strong executive committee for one year.
The forum was formed in a pre-planned gathering held at RGU’s Mini Auditorium on Saturday. Where AAPSU’s Vice President (Protocol) Dr. Tayuk Sonam reminded the scholars regarding their service towards society.
Congratulating the new team, the AAPSU Vice President advised them to not only focus on the issues related to the scholars of the University but also extend their assistance and work closely with the state government regarding various policy making strategies.
Marbom Ado of Economics department and Kosen Jida of Commerce department was selected as the Chairman and General Secretary of the forum respectively. Other posts that were appointed on the occasion included Prem Taba of Mass Communication department as IPR Secretary and Phongam Tesia of Zoology department as Convenor.
The RGURSF also co-opted four others as the prime members of the committee.
