Dasanglu Pul trains guns on MVAC, says it is ‘politically motivated’

ES Reporter

ITANAGAR, Sep 22:  After remaining tight-lipped for almost a year on her husband, former Chief Minister Kalikho Pul’s suicide, his third wife and incumbent BJP MLA, Dasanglu Pul today sidelined herself from all controversy and claimed that the bandh called by the ‘Mere Vichar Andolan Committee’ seeking justice for the late leader on September 25 next has nothing to do with her and the Pul family.

‘The ongoing campaigning and 12 hour bandh called by the so called ‘Mere Vichar Andolan Committee’ in the name of seeking justice for  my late husband and former CM is politically motivated  by some vested interest people,’ said Dasanglu Pul.

Further alleging that MVAC is collecting money in the name of justice for her late husband, she appealed people not to believe in any rumours spread by the committee.

‘State government has already submitted a memorandum to the Ministry of Home Affairs seeking proper enquiry on the 60-pages notes title ‘Mere Vichar’.  So, there is no need of any third party to intervene in the matter as the matter is with the Home Ministry,’ she added.

When asked about her stand on the joint  FIR filed by all the three wives seeking enquiry as per the 60 pages note on the day of the incident , Dasanglu was seemingly taken aback.

MVAC has called a 12-hr bandh on September 25 next demanding immediate step down of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, DCM Chowna Mein and Spokesperson PD Sona.

Moreover, MVAC  as well as  the first wife  of late Pul, Dangwimsai Pul  and her son Ojingso Pul has been demanding registration of FIR filed by all three wives in various platforms.
