Governor chairs high-level security review meeting
TEZU, Nov 27: Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak (new India manthan), a mega publicity outreach campaign by the State Government for mass awareness of all Flagship Schemes under Prime Minister and Chief Minister, SADA, RIDF was held here in presence of Minister Animal Husbandry & VS, Art & Culture, Dr. Mohesh Chai, Commissioner Tax & Excise Anirudh Singh IRS, and Deputy Commissioner Karma Leki today.
The outreach programme was attended by ZPMs Tezu and Sunpura and all the Heads of Department of Lohit District. Progress and achievements of all the Pradhan Mantri Flagship Schemes, CM Flagship schemes, CSS, State Annual Development Agenda, RIDF and SIDF was presented through power point presentation with facts and figures.
Dr. Chai informed the house that the main objective of the outreach programme is to familiarise the officers about all the developmental schemes that is being undertaken in the State through various departments and agencies.
An informed department head and officer will be able to disseminate the programmes and policies at the ground level thereby the objective of the schemes that is to provide welfare and benefit to the common people will materialise, he said.
Meanwhile, acknowledging the role of financial institutions to realise the implementation of various schemes, the Minister sought cooperation from all banks operating in the district. Without their cooperation the developmental project will not be able to reach the right target beneficiaries, he opined.
He urged all the HoDs to ensure inter-departmental coordination to work out all the hindrances that may be there for proper implementation of the schemes.
Commissioner Anirudh Singh requested all the Government agencies and officers to spread awareness on all the ongoing central and state sponsored schemes so that they may avail benefits which they are entitled.
All the ongoing schemes in the district (Ujjala Yojana, Ujwala Yojana, Swach Bharat Abhiyan-Gramin, GST, Jan Dhan Yojana, Aadhar seeding, CM Bunkar Yojana, Deen Dayal Swavalamban Yojana, Jan Aushadi Yojana, etc were also reviewed and discussed in the meeting.
