Jan 29: Pakke Kessang has a reason to cheer as local legislator Biyuram Wahge today commissioned 11 kv power supply.
Earlier, the area used to get erratic power supply, sometimes only for two hours.
The 11 kv Leporiang to Khodaso power line was funded under State Infrastructure Development Fund with an estimated cost of Rs 150 lakhs and is expected to benefit 200 households.
Wahge has credited his immediate predecessor Kameng Dolo and Power department for the initiative, and said the long-felt dream of the area has finally arrived with the commissioning today.
The commissioning programme was attended by EAC in-charge Abu Taba along with Power EE and AE, and public leaders.
