ZIRO, Nov 23: In a meeting with the DC and the DLRSO, the Divisional Commissioner, West, Gamli Padu took stock of the Potin to Bopi Trans Arunachal Highway land acquisition process in Lower Subansiri district.
Deputy Commissioner Kemo Lollen informed that the compensation payments will be completed within the month of November and will be handed over to the concessionaire soon. Till date 90% of the compensation disbursement work has been completed along with the preparation of the records of the land stretches to be handed over to the concessionaire.
He further informed that the payments for few disputed places have been kept pending, which shall be taken up once the final payments have been disbursed.
Padu expressed hope that the acquisition process is completed as scheduled and the work on TAH commences soon.
