ITANAGAR, Feb 18: North East Human Right Organization (NEHRO) Arunachal Unit in its representation to the Director General of Police has urged for full-fledged Police station at Wakro Circle of Lohit District.
In its representation, the organization asserted that due to absence of full-fledged Police station local denizens have to face inconvenience in reporting crime related complaints. It takes at least 24 hours to register a case as the complainant has to travel to its district headquarters Tezu, it said.
Besides that, Wakro is an important circle having famous tourist spot Parsuram Kund, and so the full-fledged Police Station is the need of the hour, stated its General Secretary Buteng Tayeng.
