ITANAGAR, Dec 12: The East Kameng Social Welfare & Cultural Organization (EKSWCO) on Monday strongly objected the alleged use of the word “Sulung” instead of “Puroik” in one of the optional answers of General Studies in the recently held APPSCCE prelims examination-2017.
Terming it as gross blunder, it expressed surprise over the Commission’s lack of awareness about the efforts of the organization and government of India to emancipate the Puroik community.
It further demanded the Commission to issue a corrigendum with public apology through media within fifteen days, failing which it threatened to initiate legal action.
