ITANAGAR, Feb 8: A two day leadership training programme organized by National Students Union of India Arunachal unit (NSUIAU) for its office bearers successfully concluded here at the Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan.
Addressing the valedictory function, All India NSUI President, Fairoz Khan spoke on the role and functions of NSUI in the nation’s development and asked volunteers to work towards development of the country with full spirit and dedication.
APCC President Takam Sanjoy while applauding the selfless work of state NSUI unit for overall development of youths in state has exhorted them not to misuse their powers allotted to them by the party.
Asserting that youth power is need of the hour for development of the country, he asked them to fight for upliftment of society while focusing on saving youths from clutches of drug menace, unemployment. He asked them to channel their energy towards community development without any discrimination.
A team of trainers from Jawaharlal Nehru Training Institute, New Delhi led by Regional Coordinator Deepak Mathur imparted the training. A Power Point presentation on role of students, power of youths, various social issues, drug menace etc were also presented during the programme.
National Secretary I/C Arunachal Pradesh Pinky Baishya, Assam state NSUI President Jyoti Bikash Changmai and other NSUIs regional heads were present on the occasion including several state APCC leaders.
