NAMSAI, Jan 7: Local MLA cum Parliamentary Secretary for Planning, Zingnu Namchoom urged youths to be ambassadors of society and to refrain from any kind of anti social activities while inaugurating the Inter– Village Volleyball Tournament here today. The tournament is being organized by Namsai based NGO, Socio Economic Welfare Association (SEWA) at Namsai.
Namchoom further lauded the SEWA for organizing the event for the youths besides their social activities.
‘SEWA has always contributed towards society whether in creating awareness on drug abuse or in developmental activities of the district,’ said Namchoom while assuring to extend all help to the NGO.
The MLA also suggested the players to opt for sports as profession as it gives immense opportunity in career building.
