ITANAGAR, Feb 12: Mere Vichar Andolan Committee (MVAC) today slammed the state government for deceiving the common people on the 60 pages suicide note of former Chief Minister late Kalikho Pul.
Addressing a press conference here at Press Club today, Convener MVAC Kaling Tasing said ‘We have been fighting for justice to late Pul for last one year and in February 2017, state government had decided to hand over the 60 page notes to Home Ministry, but till today no progress has been made. It was just a ploy to mislead the public.’
The committee also questioned the silence of the Home Ministry on the issue.
Training guns on MoS Kiren Rijiju, Tasing said ‘He is an MP from Arunachal and it is also his responsibility to extend his support to unearth the truth.’
MVAC will join the India Against Corruption Movement led by noted social worker Anna Hazare in March at New Delhi where they will raise the issue of former Chief Minister, late Pul.
President Save Arunachal Youth Association (SAYA) Likha Rajnik while calling the government ‘deaf and dumb’ vowed to continue their fight against corrupt leaders.
