Governor chairs high-level security review meeting
ITANAGAR, Dec 1:Jenti Bellai (28), from Tezu, who went missing recently was found safe at Noida by a team of Noida police this afternoon and her family back at Tezu has been informed about the development.
Bellai, a divorcee, accompanied by one of her Nepali friend, a beautician from Guwahati left for Delhi to meet her Facebook friend, Ahtar Hassan who had allegedly promised job opportunity at the national capital to both the girls.
According to Tezu Police, Bellai and Hassan are good friends and have met each other on previous occasions.
They have met at least three times and are good friends. She left her hometown on her own will. Her family has been informed about her whereabouts and her brother is on the way from Dehradun to Noida to pick her, informed Tezu Police.
However the reason why Bellai had switched off her cellphone after reaching Noida is yet to be ascertained, the police source disclosed.
