ITANAGAR, Jan 23:Concerned over non release of funds to purchase uniforms and text books into respective SMC accounts of the KGBVs, the Arunachal Pradesh Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Welfare Association (APKGBVA) has called for early release of the funds.
Referring to the Centre’s directive, that the funds should be credited into bank accounts timely, it alleged that since last 2016, the same old trend is being continued and KGBVs are yet to receive the text book fund from the concern DDSEs office which caused enormous difficulties in running school in remote areas especially bordering China.
Further the association hoped that the current government which is working to advance girls education would look into their demands on top priority.
