ITANAGAR, Jan 3: In a significant development for the 2005 batch IPS officers from Arunachal Pradesh, Ministry of Home Affairs has promoted at least five IPS Officer of AGMUT cadre to the Rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG). The promoted officers are, PN Khirme , Hibu Tamang, Isaac Pertin, Mari Riba, CK Mein, Michi Paku and Take Ringu.
Meanwhile, MoS Home, Kiren Rijiju has congratulated all the promoted IPS officers on his social networking site. ‘New Year gift to the efficient and hard working IPS officers. Home Ministry has issued the order for their promotion to the rank of DIG. My best wishes to all of them,’ Rijiju posted.
