ITANAGAR, Jan 10:The World Hindi Diwas was celebrated with enthusiasm here at HIM International School, Jully which saw a string of literary events among students throughout the day. An interactive session was also held under the guidance of Principal, RS Parihar and Academic Head, Dubey where teachers shared their views on the language and its importance.
The Vishwa Hindi Diwas was observed in a befitting manner by Arunachal Hindi Sansthan a registered NGO, by conducting a workshop to motivate the students to understand the values of the national language.
About 50 students from various schools and colleges participated in the program. In his address, Takam Sonia, Chairman AHS, shared the importance of Hindi language and said that the day is celebrated on January 10 every year since 1975 to promote Hindi at global stage.
He disclosed that there are 130 universities in the world which has included Hindi as one of the core subjects in their academic courses.
