ITANAGAR, Jan 16:Expressing concern over reckless parking by commuters alongside the highway under twin capital, the All Arunachal Pradesh Contractors Welfare Association (AACWA) has urged the state government to initiate necessary steps to create an additional SP Traffic with sufficient manpower for Itanagar-Naharlagun to check traffic congestion.
It opined that the Chief Estate Officer Cum ADM, who has been empowered to handle traffic, is not enough to control the increasing traffic congestion.
The AACWA also extended support to social activist Tadar Niglar for his demands for ‘one man one profession,’ while claiming that it has already submitted representation to the Chief Secretary regarding the same to process the matter as early as possible.
