ITANAGAR, Dec 14: Lt. General AS Bedi, General Officer Commanding, 4 Corps, Tezpur called on the Governor BD Mishra at Raj Bhavan on Thursday. The duo discussed about border security issues pertaining to Arunachal Pradesh.

The Governor appreciated the alertness and élan of the troops of 4 Corps under whom areas of western Arunachal Pradesh come.

The Governor expressed his confidence about the security apparatus and felt happy about the resolve of the Army for maintaining peace and tranquillity at all cost.

The Governor was assured by the GOC that the armed forces are reaching out to the people and have cordial relationship with them through awareness campaigns, health camps and educational initiatives.
