NAHARLAGUN, Feb 11: DMO Papum Pare Dr Subu Tasso Kampu today requested Brahma Kumaris to spread the message of MR Vaccination Campaign (MRVC) across the state.

She was speaking at an awareness programme on the campaign at Brahma Kumari Centre, here.

Brahma Kumari Mission In-charge Poonam assured to spread the MRVC message.

The campaign targets children in the age group of 9 months to 15 years, she said adding India has resolved to eliminate measles and control Rubella by 2020.

She said Papum Pare District has the largest number of beneficiaries -- 63,924 -- in the state.

Present at today’s programme among others  were Rohit Kumar Singh (Consultant SMnet-unicef), Dr HageTaley (District Veterinary Officer), Chief Engineer T Ketan, Editor, Arunachal Front, Nani Kojin, Dr R Nabam and Dr B K Pankaj.
