YUPIA, Feb 8:Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare, Tai Kaye convened a meeting with all Political Interpreters (PIs) of the district today.
Underscoring their role in assisting the district administration in developmental activities and in maintaining law and order, the DC asked them to be loyal to the administration and the government.
Later, he also chaired a meeting of all Panchayat leaders to discuss about the proper implementation of development grants in aid to the Zilla Parishads and Anchal Samitis for local area development to meet the demand of local people of the area. He called upon all leaders to judiciously utilize the fund as per the norms and guidelines so that benefits reach the people.
ZPC Chairperson Nabam Aka also spoke on the occasion.
