TEZU, Nov 9:A coordination meeting was convened by Deputy Commissioner, Tezu Karma Leki to discuss on development and beautification of Lohit District and Tezu town in particular.

Chairing the meeting, DC requested the participation of all the stakeholders in the developmental process of the district.

He informed the house that relocation of fish and meat shops along the main road has already begun and soon they will be relocated to a designated market. Flying Squad has been formed to check the illegal land encroachment.

Describing the rampant encroachment of government land as one of the most unfortunate issue, he requested all the stakeholders to come forward and discourage such illegal activity.

Nakul Chai and Khapreso Krong, former Ministers also spoke on the occasion.
