PANGIN, Mar 12:An urgent coordination meeting regarding cent percent Aadhaar enrolment of school children under all schools and Anganwadi centres of ICDS department of entire Siang District was convened here today.
Deputy Commissioner Rahul Singh while chairing the meeting elaborately emphasised on the significance of possession of Aadhaar card especially by school children for availing various social welfare programme benefits and sought active cooperation and participation from all Education department functionaries for realising this objective. Assuring provision of all necessary logistics and manpower support by the district administration, he gave strict directions to the Education department and ICDS Department to expedite the enrolment process in order to achieve the target of cent percent coverage by March 31.
Along with the DDSE Siang Tanyang Tatak, MDM coordinator Amitabh Pejik, a total of around 40 participants comprising BEOs, CRCCs, School Head Masters and Principals participated in the meeting
