KHONSA, Feb 5:
The 36 Bn CRPF stationed at Khonsa distributed classroom furniture and school kits to the Government Middle School, Bera recently. In addition, Commandant SR Behura also promised to bear all expenses of repairing and painting of existing old and broken furniture of the school under its Civic Action Programme 2018.
The programme was presided by ADC Tirap , Techu Aran and SP Jitendra Meena.
Appreciating the gesture, the ADC highlighted the importance of quality education particularly for further development of the area. SP, Meena also praised the CRPF and exhorted the people of Tirap to uphold peace, brotherhood and social harmony.
Commandant Behura in his address said that through the Civic Action Programme the force is trying to strengthen the bond between the force and civilians.
