PASIGHAT, Jan 31:
The 2nd Conference-cum-Awareness campaign of the Boriing Olung Welfare Society (BOWS), Youth Wing was held at Ngorlung village under Ruksin Sub-Division from January 27-29 last.
Speaking at the inaugural, Tamat Gamoh, President of the BOWS (apex) stressed on social welfare and unity of the society. Urging fellow youths to uphold the image and sanctity of the society, he also emphasized on the capability of the youths in different fields and to contribute in state-development.
The gathering also mourned the untimely death of one of its member, late Ojing Taying at Itanagar on June last and the house appealed the police and administration to nab the culprits at the earliest.
