ITANAGAR, Jan 25:The power supply to the capital complex coming from Ranganadi Hydro Electric Project (RHEO) will be disrupted for few days from January 28 to 29and February 2 to 16 due to proposed shutdown of its transmission lines.
This was decided in a meeting of the operation coordination committee (OCC) of North eastern regional power committee held on January 19 last at Guwahati.
Meanwhile informing about the shutdown, Executive Engineer (E) SLDC and TD-II, Itanagar, Nangkong Perme said the supply will be affected only during the day as power supply to the capital complex will be arranged from Gohpur-Itanagar Transmission Line (GTL) via Assam Grid during the phase.
However due to exigencies of real time grid operation involvement switching from one system to another through other grid, disruption of short interval may occur in some sectors, the EE added.
