ITANAGAR, Feb 8: Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Constructions Workers’ Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) organized series of awareness camp for its members at Parsi-Parlo, Sangram and Nyapin under Kurung Kumey District from February 5-8.
During the awareness camp, Senior Registering Officer-APB&OCWWB, Hage Obing elaborated on various central schemes for labourers and existing schemes under the board.
He further informed the members that, Accidental Death Benefits has been enhanced from Rs. 50,000 to Rs.100000, Natural Death Benefits from Rs.15,000 to Rs.50,000,Housing loan from Rs.50,000 to Rs.1,00000,Medical Benefits from Rs.5000 to Rs.15,000and others.
Besides mosquito nets, gumboots and blankets were distributed to the registered workers.
Among others, District Registering Officer, Kurung Kumey District, Dani Yangda, President AAPWU Kurung Kumey District Unit, Bengia Taha were present.
