ITANAGAR, Jan 9:The Abo Tani Clan Organization (ATCO) has temporarily suspended its proposed 12-hour bandh call on Wednesday, January 10 following assurance by the Chief Minister to review their pending issues.
Informing this, the organization also denied any involvement in arson cases during its recent capital bandh call on December 29 last.
The organization clarified that few cases of torching of vehicles reported during the recent bandh call was not done by ATCO members, but executed by someone with unscrupulous motive to malign the image of its executive members and to create disturbance during peaceful protest.
However ATCO further said that it will resume the stir, if government fails to fulfill their demands within a week.
