ITANAGAR, Jan 23:The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW), Itanagar is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of National Commission for Women (NCW) on January 25 next with a marathon race from Tennis Court, Indira Gandhi Park, Itanagar. The marathon “Run for Women Empowerment” is open to all and there will be cash prizes for first, second and third winners along with mementos for both male and female. The day will also observe sensitization on “Women related laws, health issues, highlight on National Commission for Women and docu-drama will be screened” by APSCW. The programme will be attended by APSCW first Chairperson Jarjum Ete as Chief Guest and state’s first Woman Arm Wrestler Pakjar Taipodia.
